To all of our loyal customers, we are so sorry you have been experiencing long wait times for technical support.  We understand your frustration and we are in the process of making the necessary changes to turn your frowns upside down.

As of today, we have added 7 additional full-time staffers and 5 additional part-timers to our tech support team!

Many of these new employees are already experienced in supporting Calyx customers and will be on the phones to help you immediately.  We are pleased to have them back and we know you will be too!

A Shallow Dive into Point 7.3

Point 7.3 is scheduled to launch on October 28.  This release is especially important because just like 7.1 and 7.2, 7.3 focuses on compliance.  The difference in 7.3 is that it focuses on making compliance even more efficient. We’ve taken compliance a step further by making it easier for you to get fees and calculations in the right forms, in the right fields—simply.

Here are just a few of the new or improved features that you asked for and we’re delivering in 7.3:

  • Enhanced intuitive GFE and Fees Worksheet that feeds other disclosure forms so you never have to question where your fees should go in final documents
  • Improved TIL screen with added fields for tracking re-disclosure dates and methods
  • New and improved banking screens including a newly introduced HUD-1 that allows you to copy fees from the Fees Worksheet or Fees & Impounds screen and a redesigned Track Conditions screen that synchronizes with the Banker Conditions screen
  • Robust, integrated Closing Docs interface that shows all transaction data in a single dialog box
  • Document Organization screen that allows you to set stacking orders

Implementing rules in PointCentral continues to be on the mind of many of our PointCentral users—and with good reason.  Creating and using rules within your LOS enables pipeline efficiency and consistency for compliance and auditing purposes.

If you haven’t visited our Knowledge Base site lately, you may have missed the latest article that explains how to implement rules.  If you still have questions, you might want to call our technical support team at 800-342-2599 for assistance or schedule an expert to help you out on-site.

PointCentral 7.3 is scheduled for release in October.  We have included some “out-of-the-box” rules that will help you get started with basic needs for compliance efficiency.  From there you can customize your rules engine to further streamline your processes.
